A note about notes for exams:

The purpose of the notes page is to practice preparation and organization - not to save us the trouble of studying. You should prepare your notes with this philosophy in mind.

You may have one page (8.5” X 11”), both sides.
You may include examples, problems, answers, descriptions - any content that you think is relevant and that you choose to copy into your notes is acceptable.
What you may not (and should not) use as your note page are handouts from class; pages or notes that are taken directly from a book or other authors; photocopies (partial or complete) of any of the above material;  any materials that you did not have a direct hand in organizing and formatting.

Please ask me if you have any questions or concerns – before you use your notes on an exam.
Feel free to send a scan or photograph of your note page in advance and I can advise you.
