New Whistleblower Reporting System
Posted September 10, 2025
Dear SMCCCD Community,
San Mateo County Community College District is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and accountability. To support this commitment, we are introducing a new Whistleblower Reporting System for fraud, waste, and abuse.
This system, established along with newly revised AP 2.12.1 – Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Hotline Administration , provides a secure and confidential way for employees and members of our community to report concerns through a third-party platform. It ensures that all reports are reviewed promptly and handled with care, reinforcing our shared responsibility to safeguard district resources and uphold the public’s trust.
For your convenience, a flyer is attached with key details, including the reporting hotline number (833-416-6409) and the link to our confidential reporting portal. You can also learn more by visiting the Whistleblower Reporting webpage.
Concerns about discrimination, harassment, or workplace complaints should be directed to the Human Resources Department. Reports of sexual misconduct or discrimination based on gender can be reported through the District’s Title IX website.
Thank you for your continued dedication to fostering a safe, ethical, and accountable environment across the District.
Sincerely,
Melissa Moreno, J.D.
Chancellor
San Mateo County Community College District
