CAN B22 Swing Space

The Canada College Building 22 Swing Project will temporarily and permanently relocate academic and operational programs from Buildings 9,13 & 22 to facilitate the modernization of Building 13. The 11,870 square feet single-story building will include the Public Safety Department, relocated from Building 9; Digital Media laboratories with associated faculty offices, relocated from Building 13; relocation of Education and Human Development classroom and offices from within Building 22. The project will also include upgrades to the building's mechanical and infrastructure/technology systems.

Benefits

This project will enable Digital Arts and Media as well as Education and Human Development programs to have dedicated instruction space. The Public Safety Department will have a visible, central presence on campus with access to it from the main quad of campus.

Schedule

  • Programming/Design: November 2019-May 2020
  • Bidding: August-September 2020
  • Construction: Fall 2020
  • Completion: Spring 2021
