Cañada College Tree Trimming Project

Photos

Project Description:

Located in the hills between Redwood City and Woodside, Cañada College has provided quality community college education since 1968. This 130 acre campus has a park like setting and is fortunate to have a spectacular location that affords broad views across the entire Bay Area and ample space for both campus necessities and woodland grounds. This project pays special attention to those woodland areas and all the mature landscaping throughout the campus. The scope of this project includes maintenance pruning of existing landscaping, hazard reduction by removing brush and overgrown grasses, vista pruning to not only improve upon the panoramic view but also to showcase the beauty of the old growth trees and in some cases tree removal.

Project Benefits:

Not only will this project increase the safety of the campus by the hazard reduction it will also enhance the already beautiful environment. This creates a comfortable environment for student, staff and the surrounding community.
