    May 12th, 1999 Vivian Truong and Julie Feegrade petition the College of Skyline Campus: Funds are approved and support is unanimously given. (LEADERSHIP)

First Steering Committee members host meeting with Cañada College and San Jose City College chapters. (FELLOWSHIP)

    October 2nd, 1999 Two members, Sarah Tsui and Kristi Cushman, attend the 1999 Phi Theta Kappa Regional Leadership Conference. (LEADERSHIP)
       
    October 16th, 1999 Beta Theta Omicron hosts guest speaker, Jim Loewen, author of "Lies My Teacher Told Me." (SCHOLARSHIP)
       
    October 29th, 1999 Beta Theta Omicron participates as its own division in the Skyline Learning Center annual Jog-A-Thon and raised over $200 to help support the TRIO Scholarship Program. (SERVICE)
    November 12th, 1999 Beta Theta Omicron provides support to Bingo Games, set up to raise scholarship funds. (SERVICE)
       
    November 8th-15th, 1999 Beta Theta Omicron collaborates with the Counseling Department, Associated Students, the Skyline Volunteers Club, and the Puente Club to hold a Thanksgiving Food Drive to supply canned foods to the Catholic Charity Center of San Bruno. (SERVICE)
       
    November 17th, 1999 Beta Theta Omicron schedules tour to UC Berkeley exclusively for members. (SCHOLARSHIP)
       
    November 20th, 1999 Chartering and first induction ceremony (LEADERSHIP, FELLOWSHIP)
       
    February 7th, 2000 Beta Theta Omicron accepts Journey Challenge for 2000.

America Reads Day and Dr. Seuss's 96th Birthday: Beta Theta Omicrons read to the Skyline Children Center's children. (SERVICE)
 
Michael Warner accepted to USA-All America Team 2000.
Vu Tran and Michael Warner accepted to USA-All California First Team 2000. (SCHOLARSHIP)
       
    March 3rd, 2000 High School Conference Day at Skyline College: Officers sit on student panel to inform high school students and counselors about the benefits of Phi Theta Kappa membership and a community college education through their own experiences. (LEADERSHIP)
       
    March 8th, 2000 Beta Theta Omicron will host Sun Microsystems speaker to address the issue of technology in society and where itís headed. (SCHOLARSHIP)
       
    March 14th, 2000 Beta Theta Omicron members will present the "Eddie the Eagle Gun Control Program" to Starr King Elementary School, an extremely underprivileged elementary school in the Potrero Hill projects of San Francisco. (SERVICE)
       
    March 15th, 2000 Beta Theta Omicron completes five-star requirements.
       
    March 18th, 2000 Beta Theta Omicron advisor oversees the "Expanding Your Horizons Project," implemented to allow young girls to explore the field of science. Beta Theta Omicron members will set up and host the event. (SERVICE, LEADERSHIP)
       
    April 8th, 2000 Spring 2000 Induction Ceremony: Beta Theta Omicron inducted over 70 new members. (LEADERSHIP)
       
    April 14th, 2000 First Spring 2000 Beta Theta Omicron officer Elections . (LEADERSHIP)
       
    April 20th, 2000 Nine Beta Theta Omicron members attended the International Convention. (FELLOWSHIP)
       
    April 26th, 2000 Beta Theta Omicron members will provide manpower and support to the Skyline College commencement and Honors Reception. (FELLOWSHIP)
       
    May 5th, 2000 Five Beta Theta Omicron members attended the Regional Convention in Reno. (FELLOWSHIP)
