Description	Gilbert Gossett ( Director of Math-Science Division) at the time of his appointment as Dean of Instruction of CSM (from District news) Gilbert Gossett was named Dean of Instruction for the College of San Mateo last night (July 11) by the San Mateo County Community College District board of trustees during its regular meeting. Gossett, 54, of Half Moon Bay, has served as Acting Dean of Instruction at CSM since October 1. He has worked in the district since 1955 and was division director of the Mathematics/Science Division at the college before his appointment as acting dean. Gossett holds a B.A. in mathematics and an M.A. in math and education from the University of the Pacific."
