Cañada College Concession Stand Project

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Construction of the Concession Stand at the southeast corner of Building 13, overlooking the new amphitheater. This project consists of construction of an approx. 170 SF, steel framed, metal roofed building on existing concrete foundation/ floor slab. The interior finishes include FRP panels, resilient flooring etc. The exterior finishes include Hardie Panel siding, multi-colored accent slate tiles, etc. Upon completion, the Concession Stand will be a key destination to grab a quick bite or a refreshing beverage in between classes.

CAMPUS IMPACT:

The project location is adjacent to Building 13 and the Main Quad. Temporary barricades, fencing and cautionary signage will be installed around the area of work. Voice and Data are to be provided from Building 13 and Power from Building 9. The contractor will need to access Building 13 and 9 during the course of the work. There will be some dust and noise during construction, and the Contractor has been directed to minimize disruption to College operations.
