The capital and largest city of Ireland, it serves as the economic center of the country. The Globalization and World Cities Research Network listed Dublin as a ‘global city’ that links major economic regions to the world economy.

Why Dublin
As an EUSA intern in Dublin, your internship site possibilities range from multinational corporations to small non-profit organizations. English, with an Irish accent of course, is the official language spoken in Ireland.
You will live in a fully furnished apartment and take local transportation to your internship site. An academic internship in this small city and student-friendly environment offers you the opportunity to experience a global city in a professional setting.

Internships in Dublin: June 10 - August 3, 2024
Your exact internship is determined through a personalized one-on-one placement process as part of the application to the program. Students interning in Dublin are placed with companies ranging from global organizations, multinationals, and small non-profits in a variety of industry sectors. Sample internship placements may include:
- Arts and Culture: art galleries and organizations, dance companies, film festivals, museums and theater
- Business: accounting, consultancies, financial services*, hotels and tourism, human resources (HR) and information technology (IT)
- Communication and Media: advertising, marketing, public relations, and digital media
- Healthcare and Education*: educational policy, hospitals, occupational/physical therapy, psychology and refugee services
- Politics, Law and NGOs: advocacy groups, criminal law, non-profit organizations and political parties
Your placement advisor works one-on-one with you to find an internship that matches your career goals, interests, and experience level. You are guaranteed an internship placement in your country of choice. However, some fields are challenging to find internship placements in, especially if your experience is limited. This program is recommended for students who want to gain professional work experience and build their intercultural skills in their fields of interest but are open to alternative placements if their first-choice field does not offer a placement.
Program Fees
The fees to participate in this program are broken down into 1) program fees, which cover housing (fully furnished apartment), advising, internship placement, orientations, cross-cultural activities program, professional development support, insurance and a variety of support services while abroad; 2) tuition (paid to Skyline College), for a three-unit degree-applicable course (COOP 671 General Global) required for non-SMCCCD participants

Out-of-Pocket Expenses
In addition to the program fees and tuition (if applicable) outline above, you will need to budget for your out-of-pocket expenses. Program Eligibility
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have a cumulative GPA of 2.25 or higher (health science: 3.0 and at least one related course completed)
- Have completed a minimum of 30 units of college level coursework prior to program
- It is your responsibility to obtain any necessary travel documentation for your program destination (i.e. passport, visa, etc).
