NOTICE TO PREQUALIFIED DESIGN-BUILD ENTITIES

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the San Mateo County Community College District (“District”) of San Mateo, California, acting through its Governing Board will accept proposals for the award of the contract for the following public work:

BID NUMBER 86543
Skyline College CIP2 Design-Build Project
SKYLINE COLLEGE
SAN BRUNO, CALIFORNIA

Each proposal must conform to and be responsive to the contract documents and be submitted on a form furnished by the District.  Design-Build Entities who have been pre-qualified for this Project may submit proposals:

• Hensel Phelps Construction Company and WRNS Studio, LLP
• Hunt Construction Group, Inc. and Ellerbe Becket, Inc.
• Sundt Construction, Inc. and Noll & Tam Architects

Description of the work.  The Work generally consists of new buildings, demolition of old buildings and site work.  Bidding documents contain the full description of the Work.

A MAndatory Pre‑Bid Conference.  June 28th, 2007 at 10:00 AM at the District Office located at 3401 CSM Drive, San Mateo, CA.  Prequalified Design-Build Entities must attend.  Interested parties are advised to arrive early. 

PROPOSALs due:  The Construction Planning Department of the San Mateo County Community College District will receive Proposals at their office located at 1700 W.
