Construction work behind the circulation desk that involves moving two book stacks to create space for ergonomic cubicles for full time staff members. An existing unused book drop will be removed and non-ergonomic built in shelving will be removed.
Installation of one wall to separate a large conference room creating two small rooms for the SI program. Re-use of existing space to create a destination for the Honors Program to meet.

Demolition in both areas will begin on Monday, December 21. The short time frame for these projects dictates beginning as soon as students are done with classwork. Further construction activities throughout the winter break period, completing by Wednesday, January 20.
These projects involve construction and de-construction, and though limited to their immediate locations, will create some dust and a fair amount of noise. Staff would be well advised to find other work areas, particularly the first week. Installation of furniture, carpet and paint work will continue in January to complete the complete renovation of these two heavily used areas.
