Anyone who is a high school graduate or who has passed the California High School Proficiency or General Educational Development Exam, or is 18 years of age or older is eligible to attend our Colleges. High school students can also attend our Colleges as “concurrently enrolled” students; please see our web site for more information about this program: smccd.edu/collegeconnection

If you have never attended our Colleges, or if you have not attended in the past year, you must complete an application for admission as soon as possible. Applications are processed in the order in which they are received. Incomplete applications are returned unprocessed, resulting in a delay in your admission to the College, and that may reduce the possibility of enrolling in your desired courses.

Once your application has been accepted, you will receive information about counseling, placement testing, and orientation sessions available before your registration date. To complete an application to any one of our three Colleges, visit us on the web at: smccd.edu/apply
