Course Textbook
The recommended textbook for the class is The College Student's Research Companion: Finding, Evaluating and Citing the Resources You Need to Succeed by Arlene Quartiello. ISBN: 9781555707293. This is the 5th edition of this book. Past editions are very different and won't work for this class. You can buy this at the CSM bookstore. The CSM Libary has several copies and couple of them will be available as Reserves (for use in the Library)
Library Card
You also need a Peninsula System library card (choose your library from the list and fill an online application). If you have one already, make sure it's still active - they do expire, but all you need to do is visit any PLS library and update your information that they will renew your card.
If you don't have a PLS library card, you can obtain one from any public library in San Mateo County. If you don't live in San Mateo County, you can still get a card that's available to distance education students.
