CRIME ALERT
This is a timely warning to inform the Skyline College Community that San Bruno Police and the San Mateo County Community College District Public Safety Department are investigating a possible sexual assault that allegedly occurred on the first floor of Building One, on October 25, 2011 at approximately 8:30PM. The suspect is described as a white male, 25‐30 years old, approximately 5'11" with an athletic build and a tattoo or scar on the left side of his neck. If anyone has any information about this incident they are encouraged to contact the San Bruno Police Department at 650‐616‐7100 or SMCCCD Public Safety at 650‐738‐4199.
The investigation into this allegation is ongoing and is in the very early stages, so only minimal information is available at this time.
In the interest of campus safety, SMCCCD Public Safety Department would like to remind everyone of the importance of personal safety precautions.
- Keep a clear head and be alert to your surroundings.
- Have several plans of action in case you are attacked.
- Listen to your hunches ‐ you are your own best alarm system!
- Avoid dark places and walkways.
- Walk with confidence and determination ‐ don't look like a victim.
- Do not walk alone, especially at night
