DISTRICTWIDE ATHLETIC FACILITIES IMPROVEMENTS

PREQUALIFICATION NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS II

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the San Mateo County Community College District of San Mateo, CA., acting through its Governing Board, hereinafter the District, is seeking to prequalify General Engineering Contractors ("A" license) who wish to compete for the award of a single, design-build contract for Athletic Fields and Athletic Facility Improvements at the District's three campuses: Cañada College, the College of San Mateo, and Skyline College. Prequalification submittals must be marked clearly on the envelope, and filed with Swinerton Management & Consulting, College of San Mateo, Building 6, 1700 West Hillsdale Blvd., San Mateo, CA 94402, no later than 4:00 p.m., August 15, 2003.

Prequalification submittals will be received only from General Engineering Contractors who have completed the District's prequalification questionnaire, available at www.smccd.edu, or by contacting Swinerton Management & Consulting at (650) 378-7334.

The mandatory prequalification conference and is scheduled for Monday, August 11, 2003 at 3:00 pm. Interested parties must meet at the Swinerton Management & Consulting Office located on the College of San Mateo Campus, 1700 W. Hillsdale Blvd, Bld 6, San Mateo, CA, 94402. Parties in attendance at the first Pre-Qualification conference for this project held on July 22, 2003 NEED NOT ATTEND on August 11, 2003.
