Mary Ann Duggan handles program management responsibilities for the Construction Planning Department which she joined in January 2007. Although her tenure with CPD may be brief, her relationship with the San Mateo County Community College District is not. Since May 2001, she has been implementing utility infrastructure upgrades and energy efficiency measures at each campus working for a design-build general contractor.

Mary Ann has an engineering degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and is a licensed Professional Engineer. She has worked as a general contractor for six years and a mechanical subcontractor for 14 years. She is experienced in design-build, design-assist and design-bid-build delivery methods. She has worked on both new construction and renovation projects ranging in size from $25,000 to $1 billion. Facilities have included community colleges. K-12 schools, correctional centers, convention centers, office buildings, medical centers, museums, sound stages, laboratories, manufacturing facilities, performing arts centers, computer rooms and athletic facilities.
