Kanjana Srisupatpongsa is a Project Coordinator focusing on the initial studies for Capital Improvement Program project compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act. Kanjana received her baccalaureate degree in Operation Research from San Francisco State University, her Master of Project Management degree from George Washington University, and is a Certified Project Management Professional.
Kanjana was a project manager at IBM Corporation for over ten years. Her strength in managing multiple simultaneous complex projects at IBM gives her the experience to ensure that the scope, schedule, and cost of projects managed by her are brought to a successful completion. Key achievements in this position include: Customer Relationship Management System Implementation for a Fortune 100 company Marketing Division in the Western Region of the United States, three HP 3000 Systems Consolidation and their Western geographic area branches Y2K Program Conversion. Her experience enables her to assist the Construction Planning Department to develop project plans, create designs, prepare budgets, prepare, revise and monitor construction schedules and documents, and to ensure successful completion of projects in accordance with plans and specifications. Her experience in communications, negotiations, and management dealing with clients, vendors, contractors, suppliers, upper management, and subordinates enables her to work effectively with District personnel, design committees, design professionals, engineers, and end users.
