Karen Pinkham is a Project Coordinator for the Construction Planning Department. Karen began working at SMCCCD in 2000 as a student assistant in the Accounting Department. In 2003, Karen was hired by the SMCCC Foundation where she helped raise funds for student scholarships and program grants. With the Foundation, Karen helped to launch the Chancellor’s Circle campaign, created their website, planned and implemented fund raising events and converted all of their data into a donor database. Karen is currently assigned to the modernization projects on the College of San Mateo campus as well as grant proposals for state funding. Karen holds an Associate of Arts degree from College of San Mateo and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from San Francisco State University.
