Dat Nguyen is a Project Engineer from Cumming Corporation based at the District as a consultant. At the Construction Planning Department, Dat Nguyen is responsible for various program-level projects ranging from aesthetics, design to technical and operations as parts of the Capital Improvement Program. He is internally referred to as the “artist” who often successfully couples form & function in his line of duty.

In the past, Dat was a student assistant to the San Mateo County Community College District’s General Services Department where he transitioned, streamlined the vendor databases, the department website and was instrumental in handling the auction processes of the District’s surplus.

Dat Nguyen is also an international entrepreneur who has business endeavors in the East Asian countries from the entertainment and advertising industries. He received his BA in Economics from San Francisco State University. Besides, he possesses knowledge of neuroscience, industrial design, musicianship and is now pursuing a Master of Business Administration at San Jose State University.
