Bldg 3 Renovation 2nd Mandatory Prequalification Conference

 NOTICE TO GENERAL CONTRACTORS CALLING FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION OF BIDDERS FOR PUBLIC WORKS PROJECTS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the San Mateo County Community College District of San Mateo County, California, acting by and through its Governing Board, hereinafter referred to as the District, will receive up to, but not later than Thursday, March 6, 2003, at 4:00 p.m., a sealed Pre-Qualification Application for approval to bid on an upcoming public works project at the San Mateo County Community College District.  Only contractors with a “B” license and who have been approved through this pre-qualification process will be eligible to bid the following public works project: 

PROJECT: Building 3, Phase 1 Improvements      LOCATION: Cañada College

Second Mandatory Prequalification Conference:  A second mandatory Prequalification conference will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2003 at 11:00 a.m., in Building 3 on the College of San Mateo campus, San Mateo, CA.  Attendance at the prequalification conference is mandatory for General Contractors attempting to become prequalified to bid on the advertised project.  General Contractors that attended the first Mandatory Prequalification Conference held on Tuesday, February 18 are not required to attend this second meeting.

Those planning to attend the conference should allow ample time to purchase a parking permit, find a parking space and walk to the meeting location.  The doors to the meeting will be secured at 15 minutes past the start of the meeting.  Those that arrive more than 15 minutes past the start of the Prequalification conference will not be allowed to participate in the prequalification process.

 All other requirements of the published prequalification remain in effect.
