NOTICE TO PREQUALIFIED DESIGN-BUILD ENTITIES

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the San Mateo County Community College District (“District”) of San Mateo, California, acting through its Governing Board, hereinafter referred to as the District, will accept proposals for the award of the contract for the following public work:

CSM CIP2 DESIGN BUILD PROJECT
COLLEGE OF SAN MATEO
SAN MATEO, CALIFORNIA

Each proposal must conform to and be responsive to the contract documents and be submitted on a form furnished by the District.  Design-Build Entities who have been pre-qualified for this Project may submit proposals:

• McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. &  Kwan Henmi & LPA Inc.
• Charles Pankow Builders, Ltd. & Kaplan McLaughlin Diaz Architects
• Rudolph & Sletten, Inc. & DES Architects & Engineers

Description of the work.  The Work generally consists of new buildings, demolition of old buildings and site work.  Bidding documents contain the full description of the Work.

A MAndatory Pre‑Bid Conference will be held June 28th, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the District Office located at 3401 CSM Drive, San Mateo, CA.  Pre-qualified Design-Build Entities must attend.  Interested parties are advised to arrive early. 

PROPOSALs due: The Construction Planning Department of the San Mateo County Community College District will receive Proposals at their office located at 1700 W.
