PROJECT NAME:

CIP1 ACAMS Add-On Project

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Installation of District Wide Safety and Security Observation Cameras and Event Annunciation System to include provision of interior speakers in building circulation areas to increase the carillon system’s public announcement capability.

This project adds sanctioned technology and enhances existing security systems to recently renovated buildings and buildings not being touched by future projects.  Initial work targets larger buildings during the break; notices will be sent out as we move into other areas.

SCHEDULE:

Monday, August 4th through Friday, August 15th

CAMPUS IMPACT:

Crews will mainly work above ceilings to install electrical infrastructure.   Dust protection will be in place and areas surrounding ladders will be ‘safed-off’. Occupants may hear overhead activity and noise from small tools.
