The waterproofing membrane under the plaza above Building 5 must be replaced due to leakage. Scope includes removal of plaza deck, installation of new drains, installation of a waterproofing membrane and construction of concrete infill, slope and curbs. Patterned concrete paving will be installed between Building 8 and Building 3 and the landscaping will be replaced throughout. New exterior furniture will be installed to enhance this outdoor campus gathering place.
