Chancellor's Welcome

Ron Galatolo
I'm very pleased to welcome you to the San Mateo County Community College District, home of Canada College in Redwood City, College of San Mateo, and Skyline College in San Bruno. Our college district is an extension of who we are in the many diversified neighborhoods of our County. As a San Carlos native and lifelong resident of the San Francisco Bay Area, I am honored to work in my own community and to help you achieve your educational goals.

We are committed to delivering first-rate education to a broadly varied population. To that end, we offer you a wide range of courses at our three colleges, including those leading to a four-year university transfer as well as programs designed to provide you with technical, workforce and vocational skills. You may either earn an Associate in Arts or Science degree or receive a Certificate of proficiency in your chosen field of study. Our faculty, staff and managers consider it a privilege to serve you. Your success is our most important goal. I hope you find your experience with us enjoyable and satisfying.
