1. Read and
approved minutes for 12-05-06 with amendments
2. Garry reported from Academic Senate
Plus/minus grades: Sherry expressed concerns with
how ITS could deal with old reporting system together with new when they have
just one set of rules and one table they work from. Garry will ask Fermin if he can invite someone from district
ITS to forum to discuss +/- grading.
3. Changes
in graduation requirements: role of committee
Garry will
check with Christine Roumbanis about exact date changes will start: 08/09?

no more than a semester break in attendance once the grad change has been made.
4. Revisit
cheating and plagiarism in light of the studies of CindyÕs students.
Cyndy will
invite the students to our next meeting to present their survey findings from
Fall 2006 semester regarding perceptions of cheating and plagiarism.
5. Update
of Degree Audit: Sherri reported that several counselors are currently piloting
the computerized degree audit and are completing Òcompliance reportsÓ as they
counsel students. Sherri also
mentioned that Advanced Placement credit from high schools is long overdue for
a review and that divisions would be asked to take a close look at the AP test
and the linked Skyline course to make sure the test is still valid to show
equivalency.
6. Review

Goals for 2006-2007:
