i. Policy on handbook states that a student versus
2 students should be on committee.
Committee should decide on one or two students.
ii. Lori as hearing officer, taped hearing.
1. JH: reference at handbook or catalog regarding hearing
procedures.
2. Reviewed concerns and procedure if unresolved, then
decision made to go to another level?
3. GB: request that instructor notified when situation
occurs, to prevent a potentially volatile scenario between students.
4. Ongoing review of grievance and appeals procedure.
i. Notice mailed to studentÕs home.
ii. GN: document should not appear as an invitation to
drop.
4. Review catalog language for max 10 units summer session:
