Course Information

Course Description

Students will gain knowledge in the prevention and care of athletic injuries to the upper extremities and spine, including mechanisms of injury, assessment of injury, therapeutic exercise, taping and bracing.

Students interested in medicine, athletic training, physical therapy, massage therapy or other related allied health care professions are candidates for PE201 & PE202. Physical education majors, coaches, athletes, school nurses and/or parents of children participating in youth sports may also benefit by taking these classes.
