Course Description
A study of the basic principles of becoming an Esthetician
that include a basic understanding of the chemistry of the
skin and the products used in it's care along with the application
of make-up.

completion of this course, the student shall have
demonstrated competencies required to pass the State
Board Examination, maintain the minimum average set
by the school and the ability to:
- Understand
the Science of Professional Skin Care
- Identify
the composition of the skin and provide the client
with professional skin care services
- Analyze
the client's skin and apply correct make-up
- Analyze
and consult with a client on skin care
- Understand
reactions of the skin when applying a product
- Understand
and apply correct techniques when applying eyelashes
- Professional
removal of superfluous hair
