Software
We will be using MS Excel version 2007 in this class. Using MS Excel version 2003 will create problems because the text we are using for the course has directions for 2007 version and it is frustrating when the directions in the book does not match with your screen. If you have older version and are thinking to upgrading, it is available at a great bargain price for community college students at journeyed.com or is available at Skyline College Bookstore at a discounted price with your student ID. Do not buy the standard version of MS Office. It does not include MS Access, which you might use in the future.

You may also download the trial version from Microsoft's web site.

If you are not updating yet, but still need an access to office 2007, you can complete your work during lab hours in Building 8 Room 8119 or 8121only. The other labs on campus do not have the software or can provide support.
