ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE YOU BEGIN.
The Peachtree Complete
Trial Version is limited to 15 uses. It is not possible to override
this limitation. Reinstalling it will not allow you 15 more uses.
Do not start the Peachtree
Complete Program until you have the data files on your computer and
you are ready to complete an assignment.
There are two ways to
install the Peachtree Complete Trial Version at home:
1. CD-ROM from Library
2. Download program
OPTION 1: CD-ROM FROM
LIBRARY
We have a limited number of disks from Peachtree. These disks cannot
be replaced. Therefore we have the highest level of security on these
disks:
1. The disks are only available for a 24 hour check out
2. The late fine is $10 per day
3. If you do not return the disk all college records will be placed
on hold.
*** Your transcripts will not be released.
*** Your grades will not be released.
*** You will not be granted a certificate or degree.
*** You will not be allowed to register for classes.
You get the message
-- please return the disk on time.
If
the CD is lost you will need to:

Write
a check for $60, made payable to "College of San Mateo",
and deliver it to Bruce Maule (15-160). The $60 will be used
to buy a replacement CD.

Pay
the penalties, late fees, and processing fees assigned by
the library.
To check out a disk
go to the library and ask for the Peachtree Trial Version on CD-ROM.
TO INSTALL AT HOME:
Place the CD in the drive of your computer. The install program will
begin.
Install Peachtree Complete
Accounting, the first choice on the list.
WARNING!
Be sure to select Peachtree Complete Accounting.
Accept all defaults,
including Standard installation.
OPTION 2: DOWNLOAD PROGRAM
If you have
a fast internet connection the download will take five to ten minutes.
A slow connection may take over an hour.
When you start the download
procedure you will be asked if you want to RUN (or OPEN) the file
or SAVE the file. Select RUN (or OPEN).
Accept all defaults,
including Standard installation.
