- Relate the structure to the function of anatomic structures.
- Manipulate cadaver dissections and other lab specimens to understand structural relationships in the body.
- Learn the aspects of normal functioning in order to relate to clinical issues.

- A good human anatomy text. The CSM bookstore has Marieb/Mallat Human Anatomy, or (if you are also planning on taking physiology at CSM) Marieb's Human Anatomy and Physiology. Both of these come with Practice Anatomy Lab (PAL) CD, also available online.
