Biography

Bryce Martens has worked in the computer industry as a programmer, software development manager, technical writer, software instructor, and marketing and technical communications director. He has a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and an MBA from San Francisco State University. Prior to teaching at the College of San Mateo, Bryce taught computers and math at Skyline College and San Francisco State University.

Bryce is the co-author of a college textbook entitled "Basic Programming with Applications in Business" (Kendall Hunt, publisher), and he also served as Managing Editor of "Up and Running" magazine for 6 years.

In addition, Bryce is an active commercial musician, arranger, and conductor. Recently, Bryce produced and played trumpet on a compact disc recording of the Royal Court Brass. He also completed a concert tour of Germany and Austria.
