My training includes years of study in alternative healing modalities: Polarity Therapy and Polarity Yoga, various methods of meditation, therapeutic massage (Swedish/Esalen style, Ayurvedic treatments, reflexology, hot/cold stone massage, aromatherapy, 4-Handed massage and body wraps), absent and contact color healing and Bioenergy Balancing. 

I have completed two State Certification Courses in Therapeutic Massage at Heartwood Institute and Cypress Health Institute, both in Santa Cruz, CA and have been practicing massage therapy since 1980.  I was the Lead Massage Therapist and Massage Therapist Trainer at the nationally recognized The Lodge at Skylonda.  I have experience in assisting in teaching classes in Polarity Therapy Energy Balancing Bodywork at the Cypress Health Institute and have taught massage therapy privately.

In my flower essence training I have studied with the founders of the Alaskan Flower Essence Project, Perelandra: Center for Nature Research in Virginia, the Bach Flower Remedy Programme in England, The Australian Bush Essences, Desert Alchemy in Arizona and Pacific Essences in Victoria, British Columbia.  I have also taken the extensive certification training from the Alaskan Flower Essence Project, the Flower Essence Society in Nevada City, CA and the Australian Bush Essences in Sydney, Australia.  I have completed the certification requirements for the Flower Essence Society and the Australian Bush Essences. 

I have studied and used aromatherapy personally and professionally in a massage and esthetics practice having received aromatherapy training while living in England and also at The Pacific Institute of Aromatherapy in San Rafael, CA, and TARA Spa Therapy of Carmel, CA.
