Kurzweil 3000

• Kurzweil 3000 allows students to transfer pages from their textbooks into the computer using a scanner and then have the text read aloud to them while individual words, phrases, or sentences are highlighted.
  
  
• It also allows students to use various study skills features such as looking up unfamiliar words in dictionaries, creating study notes after identifying the important points with highlighter pens, and proofreading written work as it is read aloud to them.
