E. Cruz
I was born on August 26, 1978 in Santa Cruz, Manila, Philippines to Jaime and Hermogena Cruz. In 1979 I
lost both of my parents due to natural causes. I, along with my brothers and sisters, moved to Daly City, California in 1982 where we lived with
aunts and uncles. Between 1982 and 1988 I went back and forth to Long Beach
(CA), Daly City, and the Philippines to live with relatives. In June of 1989 I lived in Sacramento (CA) up until November of 1998, when I moved to
my cozy apartment in Pacifica (CA) where I still live today. When I am not
resting or working I love going to the beach for picnics after a morning at
the zoo (or some place with animals). If time allows I borrow my nieces and
nephews and just play. This allows me to bring out the childish personality
that's not always obvious.
Throughout my life I have experienced constantly changing environments. I
suppose that is why I am so accustomed to changes, different types of people--friends and co-workers alike--and different living
conditions--including and most definitely the weather. Furthermore, I can
also say without hesitation that I am a very independent person; relying on
somebody is the ultimate and last resort. It is not because I am a snob, or refuse to accept help from others, but rather I take pleasure in the
challenge and satisfaction that I have accomplished a task without bothering
someone else. I may sound like a serious and "to myself" type of person, but if you ask the people around
me you will learn that I am quite the contrary.
