My name is Don Carlo Trinidad. I was born in New York, but was raised in San Francisco my entire life. I have 4 brothers and 3 sisters. I have always had an interest in science ever since I can remember. I have entered numerous science fairs, volunteered at the SF Zoo, and at Laguna Honda Hospital. I attended City College of San Francisco with a major in Nursing. I also concurrently completed an EMT training program. Using my EMT license allowed to work in various hospitals in the bay area.
I decided on pursuing a career in Respiratory Care because while working in hospitals and Home Care (QUEST HEALTHCARE), I got an in depth knowledge on what a vital role an RCP plays in healthcare. Ever since working as a Respiratory Technician, I knew that I would eventually find myself enrolled in a Respiratory program.
I am very excited in learning that I have been elected to represent my class in our Respiratory Club at Skyline College. I can only see my ascent up the political ladder being a positive experience. I hope that I serve my fellow 1st year colleagues well.
