S. Mandapat
My name is Sasha Mandapat. I was born in the Philippines and came to San
Francisco in 1985 and have lived in the city ever since. I graduated from
Bridgemont High School and received my Bachelor’s degree from San Francisco
State University.
Before enrolling in the Respiratory program, I was pursuing a career in
early childhood special education. Although I have a passion for working
with children with special needs, I am also fascinated by the medical field.
The field of respiratory therapy provides the opportunity of an exciting
and fulfilling career. A career in which I can work closely with others and
offer care to those in need. Hopefully, after completing this program, I
will be to provide respiratory care for infants and children in the hospital
setting.
