Work Standards

 

This is a handout detailing the work standards that are expected for any assignment that is done outside of lab (i.e. lab reports, etc.). This is an addendum to the syllabus; be sure that you read and understand it. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Here is a great site that will help you with most calculators, including the TI , HP Casio and others.  Very useful if you ever wanted to know “How do I do that?”

 

Equation Plotter

 

A useful site that will let you plot professional looking 2-D and 3-D plots that you can paste into your reports.  You have to register, but it’s free.

 

How To Study Physics

 

Simply a great article by Professor Dan Styer at Oberlin College on how to study physics.  He has a great approach that you should find very helpful.

 

How To Solve Physics Problems

 

Another helpful article by Professor Styer.  Be sure to read this and use his tips.
