I am always on the lookout for interesting links to include on this page, so return here frequently. If you happen to run across a page you think worthy of inclusion, or if you discover that one of these links is no longer active, please let me know.

History

The MacTutor History of Mathematics Archive
Massive encyclopedia organized around more than 1,000 short biographies of mathematicians. Contains articles, cross-referenced to the biographies, covering a number of topics in the history of math; maps "showing the birthplaces of those Western European or North American mathematicians [covered in the] biographies"; diagrams depicting the mathematicians active during different historical periods; a calendar listing the mathematicians who were born and who died on every day of the year; articles on dozens of famous curves, providing a history of each curve, a picture of it and associated curves, and a Java applet that permits interactive experimentation with the curve; a bibliography of hundreds of books and articles pertinent to the history of math; and an annotated directory of other sites relevant to the history of math. This has got to be one of the best sites on the web. I kid you not.
