  • Choose your Awakening literary group project members and discuss poster themes/options.  Group members will be announced on Thursday, 3/17, so work out your group situation this week. Your group should begin working on your project ASAP in order not to feel rushed in the coming weeks.

  • Work on The Awakening group project

  • Begin planning and outlining for Essay #2.

  • Create a working thesis for Essay #2 and begin work on your first draft

  • Discuss The Awakening: Symbols in Kate Chopin's novel

  • In-class activity
  • Brainstorm with your Awakening project group members on a possible theme and images. Begin gathering the necessary materials, information, images, and supporting ideas for your poster/presentation.

  • Review and highlight/note key characters, scenes, events, and quotes in The Awakening. This will help you gather information for your poster/presentation and for Essay #2.
