PROJECT NAME:

Cañada College North Quad Water Feature

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Beautification of the old fountain at the North Quad area. Installation of new boulders, cobbles and granite seat cap at fountain. Upgrade of lighting at the planter areas, creating a peaceful, serene outdoor learning area for students, teachers and community members.

Design Team:  David Gates Associates, with O’Mahony & Myer Electrical Engineering & Lighting Design

Contractor:  Rodan Builders

SCHEDULE:

Tuesday, June 12, 2007 – Friday, July 27, 2007

CAMPUS IMPACT:

This project will enhance the outdoor learning environment.  The construction work will entail limited sandblasting, which will be performed prior to the start of Summer classes.  There will be minimal dust and noise, and the Contractor will do its best to minimize disruption to College operations.

Fencing and cautionary signage will be installed around the area of work.  Please be careful when in the vicinity.
