PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

 

Underground utility electrical work

 

 

 

SCHEDULE:

 

Complete Campus Power Outage Scheduled for:

·        Wednesday Dec. 27 at 6am - until Friday Dec. 29 at about 5pm

 

 

 

 

CAMPUS IMPACT:

 

There will be no electrical power, no lights, no computer data networks, and no telephone service to the entire campus during these 3 days.

The Campus will be officially CLOSED during these days.  No persons should come on campus during these 3 days, except for designated Facilities personnel and construction crews.  Campus Security will be policing the grounds.

Before you leave campus for winter break, prior to these outages, please: 

·               Remove all perishable items from faculty/staff refrigerators

·               Make alternative arrangements for any organisms that must be sustained which require a regulated temperature and/or cannot survive a change in temperature beyond 6 hours - i.e. any science lab experiments;

·               Shut down all office equipment including computers, printers and copiers before you leave your work area (this will help protect equipment from damage).
