Subject: Construction Notice - Partial Closure of Walkway in Front of Building 5

               

Hello everyone – yup – Richard ‘the Grinch’ -  with yet another Construction Notice before you get away for the Holiday Season and Winter break.

The construction of our new Building 6 (Student Support and Community Services Center) is moving right along.  There is some work at the NE quadrant of the building site that needs to get underway, to include grading and foundation work for Building 6’s loading dock at that location.  This means there will be a lot of construction activity in the vicinity of Building 5’s loading dock.

The walkway along the front of Building 5 that comes from Staff Parking Lot 6 will be closed from December 21 to January 14.  You can gain access into the front of Building 5 from the Staff Parking Lot 6 direction by walking around the back of Building 5, past the Bookstore, and using the walkway in front of Building 5 from Building 2.    The loading dock to Building 5 will remain accessible for delivery vehicles throughout this period.

Please open the attached file to this email for a clearer picture of the blocked walkway and alternate walking routes to get to the front of Building 5.

Our Swinerton Team will make sure appropriate signage is posted to redirect pedestrian traffic, as this period will be a busy one as students, staff and faculty get ready for the start of the Spring Semester.
