During the winter break starting December 23 the heating and exterior lighting will be on holiday schedule. All buildings heating system will be turned down to save energy. The exterior campus lighting system will be reducing to just the all night lights. This means there will be limited lighting in the parking lots and walkways. There will be no facilities staff working during the break, so this means that all buildings will be secured on the December 22 and not reopen until Jan. 3 05. Please take notice that many of the buildings now have security alarm systems, so if anyone is planning on working during the break I suggest that you check in with campus security, at extension 3420 prior to entering any building. This way we can avoid any false alarms. I wish everyone a safe and happy holiday break.
