Subject: Construction Notice - Building 1 Roofing Project - Staff Lot 1 Parking Impact

Hi folks – our Building 1 Roofing Project is progressing nicely and I appreciate everyone’s patience with putting up with the parking inconveniences and ‘BANG-BANG-BANG’ noise.

The ‘BANG-BANG-BANG’ noise in Building 1 and short-term parking impacts at the Ceramics loading dock area, Gallery Theater loading dock area, and Staff Lot 1 will continue through the end of next week as Alcal Roofing works to demolish the existing roof.  Debris boxes in the loading dock area vic the Gallery Theater and the loading dock area vic Ceramics will be spotted to remove the old roofing materials.

Next Thursday and Friday, November 3 and 4, 24 staff parking spaces will be lost along the south side of Staff Lot 1 at the eastern end.  See the attached photomap for clarification.

Next Saturday, November 5, the entire eastern section of Staff Lot 1 will not be available for parking.  Again, please see the attached photomap.
