Subject: Construction Notice - Exhaust Fan Replacements - Roof of Building 1

Hi everyone – starting next week, there will be some activity on the roof of Building 1. Chevron Energy Solutions will be removing and replacing seven large exhaust fans on the roof, which will, in the end, improve the air circulation within Building 1.
This work will start on Monday, October 17 and last up to six weeks.
During this period, some of the exhaust air systems within Building 1 will have to be shut off, which could create a slight ‘stuffy air’ condition within some of the office areas and classrooms in Building 1, particularly on the 2nd and 3rd floors. You may have to open your windows to get the air to circulate more freely. Heating will not be affected and the supply air system will also continue to work.
There will also be short periods during this work where a crane will have to be spotted in Staff Parking Lot 1 and I will update you with regard to these dates later.
I apologize for this inconvenience. Thanks -
