Subject: Construction Notice - Closure of Restrooms in Building 8

Hi everyone – the time has come – John Plane Construction (the contractors for our Building 8 Seismic Retrofit and Modernization Project) are itching to get started with the restroom demolition and remodel.  This will mean the student and staff restrooms at the Building 8 & 7 split (1st and 2nd floors of Building 8) will no longer be available for use until the end of the Building 8 project (December 2006).

Beginning Monday, August 29, the Building 8 staff and student restrooms will be closed.

Restroom facilities for Building 7 faculty, staff, and students will be made available via the modular restroom building at the front (east) entrance to Building 7.

I apologize for this temporary inconvenience. Please be careful as you navigate your way to and through the front entrance of Building 7, as the ADA ramp to the restroom building had to stick out as far as it does so that our disabled population can make use of the modular restroom facilities as well.
