Subject: Construction Notice - Districtwide Facilities Assessment Survey

                             

Hi everyone - in an effort to update our facilities condition assessment in the State’s database, a physical audit will be required.  A surveyor from 3D/Internatinoal (3D/I) will perform inspections of all rooms in every building, along with inspections of exterior areas including parking lots, roadways, fields, quads, walkways, athletic fields, etc.  These surveys are necessary to identify what’s currently deficient in our buildings and spaces, and further to assist capital planners with projecting what funding will be needed in the future.

There is no anticipated direct impact to faculty, staff and students.  This survey work is purely a visual inspection – no noise or disruptive work is planned.  The one-person surveyor from 3D/I – Woody Nelson - will be wearing a 3D/I picture badge.

The surveyor will be on campus from Friday, August 12 to Friday, August 19.  This schedule period is an estimate and actual dates may overlap by a day or two depending on the surveyor’s progress at CSM and Canada.
