Subject: Construction Notice - Temporary Loss of Staff Parking Spaces - Lot 1 - August 4 & 5

Hello everyone –

One of the last steps in finishing up the Summer “Facelift” project in Building 1 involves the delivery of new classroom furniture.  Two tractor trailer trucks will be making that delivery on Thursday and Friday, August 4 and August 5.

They will need to park in the section of Lot 1 closest to the loading dock and the Gallery Theater - this will mean 20 staff parking spaces will not be available during these two days only.

Evening Security and Facilities staff will be cordoning off the parking spaces by placing barricades out after evening classes have concluded on Wednesday evening, August 3.

The attached file illustrates the ‘No Parking Area’ in Lot 1.  I apologize for the temporary inconvenience and I invite everyone to take a moment before the craziness of the Fall Semester starts to visit Building 1 and take a peek at our “new classroom look.”    The classrooms are – 1105, 1107, 1111, 1115, 1124, 1303, 1304, 1306, and 1320.  Also check out our new Conference Room – 1319.
