Subject: Construction Notice - Installation of Emergency Evacuation Signs

Hello everyone – yes, it took a while, but thanks to our Swinerton Team – the long awaited Emergency Evacuation Map Signs have arrived and will be installed starting next Wednesday, May 11.  The campus wide installation in our buildings (minus Building 3 and Building 8 for obvious reasons) should take one or two days at most to complete.

There will be no impact to the campus as the installation is a simple process and the signs will be located in our hallways and corridors only.  The attached file is an example of the signs that will be posted.

If you want to look at a real-time view of the construction of our new Building 6 (Student Support and Community Services Center), please click on -http://www.smccd.net/accounts/smccd/webcams/skystudentcenter.htm

Please be careful around the other construction areas on campus.  Thanks.
