Subject: Construction Notice - Delay in Opening the Track and Lower Soccer Field Area
Hello everyone – me again – with bad news. The weather is not cooperating with us and because of some forecasted rainy periods this week and next - the application of the second and final coat of track resurfacing material and subsequent re-striping is going to be further delayed.
The track and lower soccer field area will not reopen again until Monday, May 16.
I apologize for this and appreciate everyone’s patience. What was programmed to take two weeks to complete is now taking the better part of five weeks. But, to get it done ‘right,’ we need to wait for the ‘right’ conditions. We’ve had an unusual April and May weather wise.
